  5. :) Detox`s Not Released Or Whatever..Becouse That Idiot lady gaga GUY Jimmy Iovine..If It Wasn`t Him Around I Think There Would Be 4 Detox By Now..

  6. I've heard consistently over the years that Iovine has at least turned down Detox that Dre turned in once. It may not be true but then again it makes sense because even Dre was hyping up Detox years ago and lately he's just secretive or can't get it where he wants. Iovine is executive producing it because he's paying for Detox all these years so he has the final say on any part of the album and his main job is to make money for the Interscope investors. Is it a big stretch to believe he has stood in the way of Detox at least once because it wasn't commercial enough?

Mnet performance was a giant Beats commercial, who didn't see that coming or call it... multiple times on this blog...

  7. why not start off his Detox Campaign with performing the Next Episode? It only says Hope your ready for the Next Episode, I still have faith we can see something in December

  9. The Next Episode itself was already off a reference from Nothin but a G Thang, Dre just needs to set Detox off (if and when he gets there) by playing some of that new hot shit we know he's holding onto. I remember when MTV or some shit premiered Still D.R.E. back in '99 and when those keys first drop, you already know the rest of the joint is on some superior next level WC shit. I sure miss that feeling listening to music...

Detox probably has more than enough heat to set off the whole hip-hop game and get immortalize Dre a third time and forever, but you would think he would invest more into actually releasing it now since it makes the best promotion for his Beats venture. Playing old shit is 20% of the heat some new certified Dre/Detox material would be and I wish this performance was something new even if it wouldn't make Detox like Die Hard. It would've grabbed a lot more attention if Dre and Snoop hyped up premiering a new joint just for the sake of it. How come Dre doesn't think in ways that make him want to wrap it up and put Detox out?

  11. Is it me or is it like Dre isn't feelin the song, like he forgot how to perform on stage.

  12. I didn't say anywhere at any time it's coming this year, I've been saying it's not seeing 2011 for a while if you've paid any attention to this blog and didn't just show up to spread bullshit. I have said if 2012 isn't the year for Detox (being 20 years after The Chronic), a Detox single or concrete news from Dre, then fuck it because I've followed it too long.

    Good try though son.

  18. that was just pathetic... why the hell is Snoop wearing headphones while performing? is he listening to music while rapping on stage? seriously.... dre just crossed the line with this performance.

is he really that much after cash and really doesn't care about his reputation? fuck it... I'll listen now to some Rakim, who cares actually about hip-hop, not about selling you another pair of far too expensive headphones....

  19. Before talking to much and blah blah on this blah blah on that.. Remember its in Asia, its another world, another culture, another public.. and yes its another dre

  21. I'm getting to the point where i've given up all hope on a future Detox release. This performance was absolute wack, just another Beats gimmick and dre's looked so uncomfortable on stage recently, especially when he performed I Need A Doctor with Em at the grammy's, just wished they cut with all the bullshit, sort out 50's album so they can release Detox. Plus i hate all this crap from Dre saying he's taking a break, instead he's just gone to commercialise Beats By Dre and earn even more cash to his ever-growing wealth. I just hope that one day he will realise that he owes something to the fans who having been waiting for the past 10 years and sit down in the studio and not stop till he finishes Detox, getting so fed up of looking at this blog in anticipation only to find he's working with another protege or promoting Beats. Keep up the good work Uzee.

  22. The real sad shit is that the whole thing was a disgrace for a song like The Next Episode.

  23. uummmm cool Dre... now how about that new Detox single?

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'll not say that we'll never see any Detox album, but look at the facts, Dre is not interestin any more on doing classics, i havn't hear any song that has the power, the energy, that it has 8 years ago... All that leak sound like he did that in about 10 minutes per song...

If he didn't change is mind we'll see maybe BeatsByDre Chronic,2001... before that album

  25. In 2020 Snoop and Dre will still only perform hits from the 90's, lol

    Drefan since 91
