Warren G has announced that he and Eminem will perform with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg
at the duo's headlining set on the third night of the Coachella
festival. Kendrick Lamar and Daz Dillinger are also confirmed to perform
as part of Dre and Snoop's set, and Rolling Stone has learned that Wiz Khalifa will also make an appearance.
It
is unclear whether or not all of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg's guests will
appear at both of their Coachella appearances, as the duo are set to
headline on April 15th and 22nd. There is some possibility that the
shows will vary somewhat, and that other guests may be announced later,
or appear on stage without notice.

ReplyDeleteI Have A Feeling That Some Detox Material Will Drop At The Coachella !!
ReplyDeletewhy the fuck didn't I buy tickets? FUCK
ReplyDeletefirst dr. dre/warren g song? maybe for detox?
this is not good news for detox, if warren g and snoop are playing its because the show will contain chronic1 and doggystle tracks, why would dre have wack ass warren g on detox??? it wouldnt sell shit if it was all the old west coast artists
ReplyDeleteThis is not good news for detox? You need to slap yourself and not return to this blog. This is just what Detox needs. This is a huge indicator that D.R.Etox is finally ready. All these big names want to be there when its release is announced. All the west coast artists will make the final chapter of the chronic saga what it needs to be. Dr Dre needs to not worry about what people want. He needs that "I Dont Give a fuck Ima put out what I want and youre gonna like it, and if not, Ill shoot your mom in the face" attitude like he had back in the old days.

Hey Uzee, I found this update on Rolling Stones website...
ReplyDeleteUPDATE: Warren G's spokesperson has released the following statement denying that the rapper made this announcement on his website: "Warren G is not announcing that he and Eminem will perform with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. Warren had no knowledge that any such announcement was being made until after it was posted. Any postings involving him and other artists were made without his knowledge or consent and he is not willing to confirm or deny anyone's involvement in this years Coachella event. We apologize for any confusion that this caused."
Sources tell Rolling Stone that all of the above-mentioned surprise guests are still scheduled to join Snoop and Dr. Dre at Coachella. Whether any fallout occurs over the leaked news by the weekend, however, remains to be seen.
But it did get me to thinking...a Dre, Warren, and Marshall track would be pretty dope

ReplyDeleteDREtox GTFOH you are fooling yourself judweiser
ReplyDeleteha ha judweiser you idiot your 2nd post proved my point....
ReplyDeleteI hope to hear a release from it. I really had my hopes up last year during the grammy's. I hope for whomever iis there that new material will surface/ not just The recipe. All of the old classics made well for the Up In Smoke Tour but that was over 12 years ago. It's time that Dre deliver new material that will not only please us as fans but everyone attending. Guess we'll have to just wait and see. 2012 is here and its time for Dre to deliver
