ReplyDeleteye that what i was thinking - it doesnt mention Dre will be featuring in the track.
DeleteFingers crossed everyone. This song, its quality, and its reception is the biggest indication of whether Detox will ever see the light of day. If this comes out and blows up, it will reintroduce Dr. Dre to the modern rap community and make Kendrick Lamar a household name. Given that Kendrick is supposedly all over Detox -- that may actually give Dre the confidence to believe that Detox could actually be a success.
ReplyDeleteAll of these years Dre has been releasing solo albums that introduce new future superstars - but I believe the roles are reversed now -- Dre is looking for Kendrick to help bring him back. If Kendrick comes to the table with some hot shit, and Dre's beat is actually banging (unlike alot of what we've heard from him recently) that may be a great thing....
I'll be at Coachella in a few weeks so these motherfuckers better at least perform the track together!
Bwash
couldn't get more believable and straight forward than this.
ReplyDeletefuck yeaahhhhhhhhhhh!!! Can't wait!

ReplyDeletewe will see from this if dre still has the ability to make a hot beat. i certainly hope he can.
ReplyDeleteyes there is a dre verse, top dawgs CEO said in his twitter https://twitter.com/#!/dangerookipawaa
ReplyDeleteI dont know if you guys know this, but it turns out that dre is producing 3 songs including the intro for obie's new album. Here are the tracks, top one is called hell ya and the bottom one is called dear lord. They are both pretty sick and classic dre beats. I suggest you all cop this new obie album and support real hip hop.

Thanks man these beats are juste like i like. Manthor

ReplyDeleteI listened to the album and I love "Hell Yeah". No one could have made a better beat than Dre!
Dr. Dre, if he comes back, is going to shut down all this negativity that has followed him so many years and remind people why he's a producer's producer. He needs to have some confidence, if this is the shit he throws to Obie, you just have to believe he has saved the best-of-the-best for his own projects. These two beats are on some real hip-hop shit.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope this is the prelude for his "coming out", followed by Kendrick, up to Coachella, and that the road to Detox is finally here.
your only fooling yourself plugin....its never coming out
