  1. Quoting twitter! I don't think the other blogs have jumped on this story yet. Nice one!

  2. If there is a mixtape, I hope Whoo Kid doesn't shoutout during the songs. I hate tagged mixtapes.

  3. Yes! If Dre is on this tape with his own production, it should be great

  4. you people dont know how to think analytically , the only reason dre works with nowadays producers is to get a feel of what the young generation likes. when dre was reigning in the g funk era everybody was sampling his style.

  5. That makes me feel worse about it when you realize the music "nowadays" is garbage and Dre taking queues from these guys on where to take Detox musically is why you get these leaked abortions. Dre is the trendsetter and takes it next-level like 2001 did, so why the fucking fuck would he cave to what someone like Swizzy is doing? If that's even remotely true then logically Detox is really just Dre's mission to prove he's relevant and mainstream, not just make a perfected last album like he intended to do. The fact he could give two shits about what kids care about somehow puts my hopes for Detox in the red. That's the audience he should straight up avoid and thus make Detox his mission to bring true hip-hop back FROM the garbage. Who is going to complain about hearing music by Dre at his best, even if it isn't what's hot right now? Save hip-hop and set the bar, don't encourage the bullshit that's popular.

Dre should "get a feel" by not answering the phone when these new producers call and to do what he wants to do and what he thinks is epic. I'll criticize Dre all day long but nothing can take away from the proven fact the man has impeccable taste and a feel for the next level which is what Detox should be: cleaning up today's hip-hop and saving it.

  10. I've also heard "Detox is done" enough times by enough people to lose count. I don't believe anything or anyone from Aftermath, especially Dre, when it comes to putting anything out until I can verify its physical, tangible existence in my hands. If Slim's mixtape comes, wonderful, but I'm not going to lose my shit if it does. It's a mixtape. ($100 says his own actual will never see the light of day from Aftermath)

I also don't care what 50 says. He also recently claimed the next Detox single to be imminently released is "The Psycho" featuring himself. Yeah, that never happened either. Unless some of you are just new to this, do you guys ever learn a lesson? All sorts of people, including Dre, including everyone around or affiliated with him, make claims about Detox literally all the time that 1) never happen and/or 2) you never hear about ever again. 50's records the last few years have sucked anyway, I couldn't give two shits about his taste in anything.
