Benzio and Busta Rhymes discuss 'Kush' single

Ex-owner of "The Source" magazine, slash rapper (?), Benzino recently spoke about Dr Dre's upcoming "Detox" album and why he isn't impressed by the first single.
"I'm not crazy about it, but it's aight, keep it 100," Zino said in an interview with Mikey T referring to Dre's "Kush" single. "At the end of the day, I know it's gonna be some sh*t on there that I am gonna be crazy over. Dre is one of the best to ever do it. Dre's one of the pioneers of producers. Dre goes in too. Dre really is one of the perfecters of his craft -- shout-out to the whole West Coast." ("Mikey T The Movie Star")
Former artist, on Dr Dre's Aftermath records, Busta Rhymes shared his reaction to Dre's "Kush" single.
"We always love a Dr. Dre project," Busta told SOHH about his anticipation for Detox. "We just want it to come out already. [As far as 'Kush'], I've heard better songs on the album, so I'm looking forward to it coming out. The 'Kush' record was cool but I know for a fact that he has some records on that album that are unbelievable." (SOHH)

  1. For SEVERAL reason moderation is on for comments.

Some of the reasons are this 'S' guy causing an unnecessary stir and trying to gain something for himself, not sure exactly what.

Also for immature followers who are cloning my ID and abusing it.

Other reason include stupid out of topic comments such as 'pee wee', sports, and spam attacks.

    Peace

  5. that mr prescription sounds like it came from the same batch as under pressure, when dre went thru his semi-electro phase inspired by kraftwerk. if you listen to the lyrics dre even says "i know you cant take these awful songs...they want some real shit, good thing i had a coupla tonnes layin around" as if he's admitted that these releases are just sub-par demos and the real shit is still coming. or the alternative is that he considers this song to be the real shit, when in fact I think its real(ly) shit. Not really feeling Chillen either. Personally I think Dre needed a beat similar to 50's in da club, Snoop's bitch please or Game's how we do, no matter how many years its been, those 3 songs never fail to fill the dancefloor cos they bang!

  7. Sounds like corporate America is putting this album together. Not his lyrics, production, ideas. Sounds like a mix of different artist trying to make a forced classic album.
