Detox postponed to May 9??

The output of: Detox, the highly anticipated new album from Dr. Dre has been postponed to May 9, 2011. Doc had yet posted a video confirming the date of April 20 but it will obviously not ready in time. In recent days, the superproducer highlights a new title Detox, "Chillin 'in duo with Swizz Beatz. Despite this small delay of two weeks, it seems that Dr. has finally decided to release his new album ....

The album had already suffered a postponement "unofficial" two months since the album was recorded in February 21 on the schedule sent out by Polydor / Universal, which distributes the label release Aftermath (Eminem, 50 Cent) in France. The date was not harmless, release albums have held on Monday and 21 is the one who approaches the anniversary of Doc. Andre "Dr. Dre" Young was in fact born on February 18. One more reason not to delay the release of Detox.

    there are grammar errors, as the article is originally in french and all that uzee did was to translate it with 'google translate', even without gong through any of the mistakes and correcting them... fuck detox, look up to some real, new shit...

    What doesn't compute is that in the video, Swizz says he's going to play a song off the new album, but Dre grabs the mic to announce "produced by Swizz Beatz". If it's on Swizz's new album anyway, why would Dre need to reiterate that? It just made me think he was talking about Detox if Dre had to say something about it.

    But maybe it's true. I mean really, mediocre Swizz bullshit on Detox makes no sense. On another note, this "S" guy doesn't know anything more than anyone else, he didn't leak anything (Koolo from StudioLeaks did), "S" is just coming on here pretending he did and pretending like he's in the know. The only one who knows anything for sure about Detox is Dre.

    why does everyone think the under pressure song is gunna have beyoncee on. Didnt y'all read the interview with sir jinx? He did a track with Dre and Jay Z on for detox, he even tripped out when he heard it leaked but under pressure wasnt that tune he did. He even goes on to say beyoncee or an R Kelly may feature aswell

    Oh common', I live in France. It's not the first time "La Fnac" put a pre-order before an official realese date, IT DOESN'T MEAN NOTHING. All they want is that when it comes out, you buy it from their store.

    Mak des pré-commandse ,il y en déjà eut sur amazon, la fnac, ebay et un tas d'autres sites. Et pourtant t'es la seul personne qui a consideré ça comme une info digne d'être mentionnée depuis la création de ce blog. Alors relax "mec", et essaie de présenter des elements valables afin d'elever le débat.
    Je ne vais pas refaire ton éducation(c'était à ta mere de le faire) mais essaie au moins de rester courtois quand tu post ici. Ce blog a toujours été animé par une bonne ambiance et un respect mutuel. Ca serait coule que cela continue ainsi.

    The fame is killing this blog. I remember when people, who know what they're talking about, used to talk about producers, coproducers and samples. Sharing all the nice things they learned about WC and Dre sound.

    Uzee, I don't mean to be rude, but since INAD, new members of the blog are just exchanging insults. Of course there is Some guys like you, J Mac and some old school fans and all of u are great debaters.

    Certes je me suis peut etre emporté mais au moins j'ai fais l'effort d'apporter un contre argument à ton info fnac. moi je suis là pour partager et débattre et je n'ai pas apprecié ta façon complétement arrogante de clore le débat avec ton "T'existe pas mec ! ".

    - compton siren's

    have been leaked by a famous hacker called Koolo. And he promised to leaked other songs from Detox

    So it's him, in any way, delaying the album's release, according to rumors the feds would be looking for him ...

    hey k take a chill pill, yes some people are posting silly comments but the majority of posts are negative and deserved(people are venting their frustrations regarding an album they have patiently waited 10 plus yrs for-and quality of leaks has been a big dissapointment)

    In the meantime, DJ Quik's solo album will be hektik considering the single he released is sooooo badass!!! He hasn't released a solo album in 6 years I think (Excluding BlaQKout)and from this first single, it sounds hella promising. I dunno why Dre doesn't seek help from Quik.

    I wonder if that tracklist is true. In that case i must say that i miss under pressure. Would take that song befor swizz damn chillin any time. The beat in that song is great so adictive and the flow from Jay Z lifts the song. Sure Dre can do better but compared to what we heard from the album so far under pressure should be on it.

    Chillin is on Swizz new album Haute Living. He played a snippet of it during his album teaser on his ustream. In the video he says nothing about Detox. Thats why Dre didnt say anything to introduce the song and just emphasized that it was "produced by swizz beatz". Dont u think Dre would want to introduce a new song off Detox?!

    Swizz bests do actually look att Dre and say from your album. So if it's not on detox but insted on Swizz album then Swizz thought it was for Detox when the clip was filmed.

    A chatroom might work for this blog since people are passionate about Detox and Dre, you can maybe use a Chatango (sp?) client within the blog front page or something.

    May? Don't think so. And I don't care that much anymore. Dre doesn't even have the inspiration to produce his own songs anymore. I always loved Dre for his sick productions, so if he's not gonna produce his own songs anymore I will have no reason to be a fan of him
