Detox to be released 'at some point in April'

Below is an e-mail which s fans would have reeived if they joined the official website's mailng list:

    This is the most ridiculous release in history. Nothing is schedualed, executed or planned properly.

    Panic buttons have been hit in the Interscope office and the shit is becoming a big mess.

    All the leaks, contributors saying the opposite, branded congac, shitty headphones, flopped songs, big budget film clips that flop.

    Man, this will go down in history as the biggest stuffed up album launch of the year!

    And will tarnish the Dr. Dre's legacy.

    "Sometime in April" seems a bit vague. Okay If Detox was due in April then a release date would be confirmed by now surely? I mean it's almost March now. Although like the previous poster said before me perhaps Dr Dre will announce Detox's release date within the next few weeks.

    This old website of dr. dre isn't a legit one. All the correct info is through the current website. Dr. dre or aftermath would never put out something that the cd would be available through some european websites. Please.

    Doesn't sound legit, sorry, although most of us already had the suspicion that "Detox" may be out by April if it's coming anyway.

    The reason there isn't ever a firm release date that makes sense (ie: falls on a Tuesday so it's halfway believable) is because Dre is never "finished" with anything, thus Iovine and Interscope aren't going to commit to shit, and I also suspect we're not going to see "Detox" in April. Out in a month? Maybe but probably not knowing Dre.

    For real though, if "Detox" was done and coming in April, you would have a release date for marketing hype, preorders, all that bullshit since Iovine and Dre are going to milk it to death. That's why an April release is extremely unlikely unless, and only unless Dre's camp and Interscope say something official and concrete very soon. Not some random ass mailing list from a website made over a decade ago. You guys jumping to buy into it without any actual, official, real confirmations or dates must be new to "Detox".

    Also, let me add that "at some point in April" is bullshit and nothing new. Just Blaze's Twitvid video with Dre claming "4/20 baby! I'm coming!" and the Beats by Dre website flashing an April 1st release date has everyone believing it's coming in April. April is a month long, I don't get why if it was done they wouldn't commit to a date, and why vaguely committing to "at some point" during the month makes any sense. The mailer also sounds unofficial because it doesn't reveal anything new about "Detox" we didn't know before, it just sounds like an unofficial third party.

    Unless the mailer actually says it came from Dre's camp or Interscope, then it's not Dre's camp or Interscope mailing it. Common sense, people!
