Pharrell makes Music with Dre

What would a Dr. Dre and Pharrell collaboration sound like? We may soon find out. The music masterminds were in the lab together over the weekend, crafting some sonic goodies with Snoop Dogg. During his trip to Miami, the Doc also logged studio time with Rick Ross. Now if only he would stop teasing us and release some new music.

  1. Dre, Snoop and Pharrell, now we talkin' ! That's gonna be a very good collab and I'm waiting to hear what's coming out of this. I guess it's for the Dr. Dre mixtape since I assume "Detox" is done and they no longer record for the album. The mixtape maybe released sooner than we might think.

  7. Dre is making the rounds working with everyone, especially guys we would never expect him to seek out, and they're all keeping quiet about it. Call me crazy but something is happening and maybe this will be the time we'll be let in on what's coming.

  8. Dre has been working his ass off this past month. Shows he's got the determination to finish detox for good. I simply believe dre has the music but is missing rhymes and this is why he's working with all these artists. In 1992 he had snoop and kurupt in 1999 he had Jay z now he has a wealth of talent to choose from. Hopefully there will be some concrete news soon.....

  9. Agree with you all the way Deano, that's what I'm thinking too. The mixtape idea sort of makes sense on paper but I just can't buy it, especially since everyone knows Dre is mad picky about lyrics and enlists the help of everyone to get the best of the best. Dre has been working with everyone we wouldn't ever expect to actually be on Detox since the beginning, including Wayne and TI, and nobody had reason to think it was for a mixtape - he just gets help where he wants it and how he wants it.

Dude is keeping busy and it's a good sign he's taking it OUT of LA to work with all these people which is the best hint he's got the focus on the way. Shit is happening here and if it wasn't, Dre wouldn't be hooking up with all these names, keeping in the studio, and taking himself on the road to do it. 2012 is the year and he knows what time it is.
