Dr Dre track 'Topless' featuring T.I. and Nas leaks
Fans are so thirsty for Dr.Dre's Detox that they are bootlegging tracks before the Doc even gets to lay down his vocals. On Wednesday (February 18), another Dre song hit New York airwaves. DJ Envy played a song called "Topless" that sounded like it was supposed to feature Nas and T.I. when finished. The song — obviously not mastered or fully recorded and released without Dre's permission — sounds fresh out of the studio.
Tip starts the song with a reference to the Doc. "It's the D.R.," Tip raps. "Made the West side worldwide, no PR/ Gangsta-rap god, I'm the end all, be all/ California love from the Bloods to the C-Dogs."
The King of the South's rhymes go on to suggest that Dre's track record is unblemished.
"Face it, you'll never be greater than the Doc, ask 'Pac," he raps. Tip was recently in the studio with Dre during Grammy weekend.
There's no question about Nas' raps on the record. He explodes on the beat with vintage Nasty Nas lines: "Your skin's a travelling bag of your existence/ Yours is shabby and scabbed while mine's glistening/ Vivid on my skin how many continents I visit then/ You can journey with me to different places by listening."
Dre's Detox LP has been promised for years now. A few weeks ago, the song "Crack a Bottle" hit mixtapes, and people wondered whether it would be on Detox or Eminem's upcoming Relapse. The track will actually be featured on 50 Cent's Before I Self Destruct.

Late update on leaked tracks
Some time ago the remix of Kardinal Offshalls 'Set if off' feat The Clipse leaked, this time as a remix featuring Dre too. He rips it with a deep dominant voice.
The other more recent rrack leaked was Eminem feat Dr Dre and 50Cent - 'crack a bottle'. Now this track which isnt even a single a lots of succes, it reached number 4 in the UK charts, jumped from from 78 to no 1 in the Billboard charts and with iTunes broke the digital record for number of download sales for any track, in it's first week > 418,000.

While returning to the Marmont, Lawrence bumped into another superstar.
"Justin Timberlake is there with his posse. Again, he's smaller than you'd expect. It was him and half a dozen guys. One of the guys he was sending out somewhere, and saying 'And tell [rap star/producer Dr.] Dre to get me those tracks.'"
So, when that new project is announced between Timberlake and Dre, you read it here first.

Snoop at the Grammys, Detox and his album
Snoop was the 2009 Grammys, on the red carpet he talked about his upcoming album "Malice In Wonderland" will feature Dr. Dre, among others. "We're in the process of trying to help him [Dr. Dre] with the 'Detox' record and working on mine at the same time," Snoop Dogg told Billboard on the Grammy red carpet Sunday.

TI querried about Detox on Grammy red carpet
On Sunday night, T.I. was part of a historic Grammy performance of "Swagga Like Us" (along with Kanye West, Lil Wayne, M.I.A. and Jay-Z), which was later followed by his emotional rendition of "Dead and Gone" with Justin Timberlake. Earlier, "Swagga" won the Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.
But before all that, our very own Sway caught up with T.I. on the Grammy red carpet and asked him to confirm one news item that's been floating in the air: Is Tip, in fact, working with Dr. Dre on Detox?
"You don't have to deny it," Sway offered. "I know you were in the studio working with him."
"I can not confirm or deny any professional affiliation," T.I. said. Sway pressed on and asked if he's recently seen Dr. Dre. T.I. playfully stared off into space and whistled.
"Dr. Dre, he's an outstanding guy," Tip said vaguely. "A little birdie sat on my shoulder and told me that the Detox album is going to be phenomenal."
