Uzee, do you happen to know who did the 2 music tracks for the Dr. Dre Chrsyler commercials? Was it DJ Khalil? Is it called "Good Things"?. Where can I find this info? Thanks man!
says its debuting during game 3 of the NBA finals! good things are coming, have a feeling dre is beginning to set things in motion. At least a date hopefully.
Okay folks -- this beat is FUCKING FIRE! This is what the hell I've been waiting for from Dre! I'm a lifelong fan -- but was really starting to get doubtful amidst all thye delays and mediocre leaks. But, this beat suggests that this fool may have some HEAT on the way.
Some long-term fans may consider this blasphemous -- but I actually can hear Drake over this track killing a hook. In the absence of Nate Dogg he may be the best substitute (Akon definetely aint cutting it). And Snoop on a verse, with an ad lib at the end. That could be what we've been waiting for....
i like how dr dre used live instruments and drums sounds really great, thats what is going to make the album great the live instruments they used. i dont mind if they did mix a synth with these live sounds (not this song) but it is the next big thing dr dre is doing. its 2011
I don't think there is such a thing as a "pure Dre beat".
Anyone with a decent ear can tell it sounds like a beat Dre would do, and since he's plugging the Beats brand, has used his beats for other commercials, and has over a thousand beats for Detox to use, I'd say it is a Dre beat. Whether it makes it to Detox is another question but like I said, Dre has so many beats and records made over the years for Detox, it makes little sense he'd promote a brand tied to his own name with some other music.
With that said, it's far from the best beat to get excited about, but it's nice to know it has that signature, epic Dre feeling going on.
It's about time he drops some heat rocks...that beat is flaming! I can bump that in my ride and look to my left and know for sure shannon brown will be standing there....lol
props to 'A' for the link

ReplyDeleteBest beat for Detox so far (in my opinion).
ReplyDeleteIn my top three along with Topless and that beat in that HP commercial with that Australian(?) comedian.
Nice beat. Definitly a Dre beat.
ReplyDeletekush too was a definitly dre beat and then it turned ou dj khalil did it
ReplyDeleteArabian piano... i think this is Scott Storch
ReplyDeletewho cares if it is a pure dre beat. Dre makes better music when he collaborates with other people anyway, just like 2001 and the chronic.
